Let's face it, sports fans, the Cornhuskers of Nebraska are truly the team of
the nineties. After many frustrations in the eighties, the 'Huskers
finally put it all together to win national championships in '94, '95, and '97
with Tom Osborne at the helm. Players like the incomperable Tommy Frazier at quarterback
and Jared Tomich at defensive end were only a small part of the formula that made the
Cornhuskers the most dominating team in the history of college football. (Just ask
Steve Spurrier.)
The 'Husker machine promises to continue it's position among the elite
of college football. Although the '98 season was a tough one for the
BIG RED, everyone can rest assured they will be back as strong as
ever in '99. Best of luck to Coach Frank Solich and all the hard working
'Huskers as they show the college football world how the game is played in '99!
